Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us.

Last updated: March 13, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Ice Fish Storm Tracker developed by MrToddy ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("the App") and our website. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Information We Collect

Automatically Collected Information

When you use the App, the following information is collected automatically:

Built-in Browser

The App includes a built-in browser used to display the Privacy Policy and the Support page directly within the App. The built-in browser supports cookies (including third-party cookies) and local storage as part of standard browser functionality. The built-in browser does not collect any additional data beyond what is described in the Automatically Collected Information section above. Any websites loaded in the built-in browser operate under their own privacy practices.

Local Data Storage

The App stores your preferences and settings locally on your device. This includes:

This data is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear locally stored data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

Local Notifications

The App can display local notifications on your device for weather alerts (rain, strong wind) and daily forecast summaries. These notifications are generated entirely on your device based on weather data the App has already retrieved — no notification tokens or device identifiers are collected or sent to external services for this purpose. You can enable or disable notification types in the App's settings, and you can revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings.

Fonts

The App uses Google Fonts to display text. When a font is loaded for the first time, your device makes a request to Google's servers to download the font file. Google may log this request according to its own privacy practices. Google Fonts Privacy Policy: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy

Map Tiles

The App displays interactive maps using OpenStreetMap tiles. When you view a map, your device requests map images from OpenStreetMap tile servers. OpenStreetMap may log these requests according to its own privacy practices. OpenStreetMap Privacy Policy: https://wiki.osmfoundation.org/wiki/Privacy_Policy

Support and Bug Reports

The App's Support page allows you to send us a message or report a bug. When you submit a support request, you may provide:

This information is submitted only when you choose to send a support request. We use it solely to respond to your inquiry and resolve the reported issue. The App itself does not access your camera directly — photo and video capture is handled entirely by your device's built-in camera app.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. The App connects to the following third-party services as part of its normal operation:

Some network connections within the App may use unencrypted HTTP. Data transmitted over these connections is not encrypted and could potentially be intercepted.

Data Retention

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information associated with the App. Most data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to external servers. Network communications use HTTPS where possible.

Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
